Back by popular demand!  Jay Lipe of Emerge Marketing will present the “Marketing's Triple Threat ” - Proposals, Websites, Marketing Plans workshop on Wednesday July 16 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the new AmericInn Conference Center on Stadium Rd. Siblings Lisa Holthaus and Tom Fallenstein share their unique entrepreneurial experiences.

Lisa Holthaus is the owner and an international award winning photographer at Elite Portrait Design in Mankato, MN. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and a Minor in Graphic Design. Her photographs have been featured on the cover as well as within the pages of Minnesota Bride Magazine Resource Guide. She has won multiple awards of excellence from the Cornbelt Professional Photographers Association and received an accolade of excellence award for her graduation portraits from the International Wedding and Portrait Photographers Competition.

Elite Portrait Design is located in Mankato and is one of the largest photography studios in southern Minnesota. Lisa utilizes a large portrait studio along with beautiful outdoor scenery to create one of a kind images for her clients. The studio also houses a state of the art viewing room to create a unique marketing and buying experience. Through marketing and an entrepreneurial approach to photography, Lisa has taken Elite Portrait Design from a new studio to an award winning and published top producing photography studio within four years of operation. “Life is

Tom Fallenstein is President and CEO of Costumes Galore in
Mankato, MN. At age 26, with a degree in computer science, Tom has taken an entrepreneurial attitude to the extreme! With a marketing budget of less than 1% of gross sales, Tom has taken the company from a mom and pop retail store to a multi-million dollar online e-tailer within two years. Womeninc: A Networking Success

Kay Sauck, Editor and Publisher of Womeninc Magazine will share her success story with the Marketing Association of Southern Minnesota on Wednesday, November 8th at 11:30 a.m. Womeninc is a premier bi-monthly magazine for south central Minnesota and north central Iowa. The mission of the publication is simple: To network women. This was the motivation Sauck had behind launching the magazine Womeninc, and it is what drives all new products and services her business will offer. The response to the magazine has been overwhelmingly positive ever since the first issue was released in September of 2004. Women of all ages are reading it cover to cover, and one third of the readership is men. While Womeninc's market is Minnesota and Iowa, the magazine has subscribers in 27 states, plus Canada, and China.
